Description: The aim of this group is to encourage members who have not created any art for years to take it up again, and for complete newcomers to have a go. Many of us painted years ago, either seriously or just dabbled, but nowadays we may never actually get round to starting again at home.

Joining our group gives you a reason to get your paints or pastels out on a regular basis. Please don't think you won't be good enough. It's just an opportunity to try (again?) among people who are always willing to help and encourage. You don't have to be a Michelangelo or a Hockney and you don't even have to paint. You can try just what ever medium you like: sketching, drawing, pastels, pen & ink, charcoal. We have a very broad range of abilities and there is room for everyone.

We don't have a tutor but everyone is happy to help We usually run in three month sessions and share the cost of hiring the hall between those signing up for the session.

Please come and give it a try.
