Description: This group is for anyone who has an interest in patchwork and quilting. When you come to the monthly sessions you can take part in workshop activities, carry on with your own projects or just stitch and chat with like-minded people.

Our ‘Show and Tell’ spot is an excellent way of sharing ideas as well as being a great source of inspiration. As trips out to fabric warehouses or organised courses are always huge fun, we hope to arrange these throughout the year.

Whether you are experienced or a complete beginner, if you would like to join, please contact the Group co-ordinator.

WHAT DO I NEED FOR PATCHWORK AND QUILTING?

There are irons and a spare sewing machine available for use at our meetings.

If you prefer to use your own machine, please bring it along, but we will have

to arrange for it to be PAT tested for you., see below.

PAT TESTING

It is a requirement of our insurance cover that all mains powered electrical equipment used at our meetings must be tested for electrical safety. This is known as PAT testing, and we have arranged to have this carried out locally.

There is a small nominal charge for this service.
